AGORA’s SDI-Node: A prototype Spatial Data Infrastructure node
The AGORA Research Group has a pleasure to announce a new tool: the AGORA’s SDI-Node.
This is an outcome of Dr. Werner Leyh’s postdoc research project in cooperation with the Department of Hydraulic from the São Carlos School of Engineering (EESC/USP). The objectives of this tool threefold: (1) collect and prepare spatial information layers, (2) enrich them with the necessary meta-data, and (3) make them available for linking with other LOD sources like DBPedia (Wikipedia) and LinkedGeoData (OpenStreetMap). All these layers then could be used for supporting the activities of disaster preparedness and management.
Feel free to register in the tool, and explore it whenever you want. If you have questions, do not hesitate in send us an email. Enjoy it!
